Horticulture is the branch of science which deals with fruits, vegetables, ornamental plants and landscaping.

It covers selection of the desired crop according to climatic zone, be economically fair with planting (cultivation), agricultural practices, harvesting, storage, processing and marketing of fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants.
